Star Wars: Fashion Finds The Force

Ten British designers presented a fashion show in London with special clothes inspired by ” Star Wars: The Awakening of the Force ” ( in Italian cinemas from mid-December 2015).

 

Organized by Disney and Lucasfilm , a big fashion event celebrates the arrival of the new episode of Star Wars, the most famous saga of all time and a phenomenon of contemporary culture with major creative influence .

The clothes can be purchased online at the deicated address www.starwarsfashion.london and founds will be donated to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

For men’s fashion were involved, among others, Agi & Sam, Bobby Abley, Christopher Raeburn, JW Anderson, Nasir Mazhar and Thomas Tait , assisted for the models by make- up artist Max Factor Global Creative Design with Pat McGrath and by hair -dresser Wella Global Creative Director of Care & Styling with Eugene Souleiman.

Each designer has also created a limited edition of sweatshirts and T-Shirts inspired by the atmosphere and the mood of the series, which will be sold online and in UK Selfridges stores.

Star Wars : Force for Change is part of the coordinated initiative of Disney and Lucasfilm to inspire people to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Also in the United States there has been a sister event , Star Wars : Force 4 Fashion , which was attended by Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Halston, Opening Ceremony, Ovadia & Sons, Parker, Rag & Bone, Timo Weiland and Todd Snyder, with dedicated mini fashion capsules collections; founds will be donated to the Bloomingdale ‘s holiday charity partner .
