Theater at your doorstep for Monnalisa
In the brand’s headquarters in Milan – Palazzo Luraschi – a special performance by 25 young high school students
The Monnalisa brand – always sensitive and attentive towards the creative experiences of younger generations and how these are sustained and developed – had hosted a very original, at-your-doorstep, total art performance, “Dream”, in its new showroom in Milan. This performance was created and adapted by the Oniro Project, with the support of the childrenswear brand. The theme seems particularly spot-on and stimulating: the effort it takes to grow and break away from childhood. The Oniro Group Project, literally born among the classrooms of a prestigious high school for humanities studies, and conducted by its still callow director, Manuel Macadamia, aims at involving viewers in an environment where dreams and reality mix and mingle, intertwine and merge, forever filtered by art. Transcending the confines of the stage, this is a different way of narrating the oneiric experience, and the difficulties and downfalls that the challenge of growing up inevitably entails. Theater, music, images, poetry, dance. No form of artistic expression is left out in this “Under 18” performance. As a backdrop for the performance is the magnificent courtyard of the Monnalisa headquarters at Corso Buenos Aires, n.1 – Palazzo Luraschi. Having recently undergone restoration of an archaeological nature, the Palazzo had been once dedicated to the famous novel by Alessandro Manzoni, “The Betrothed”.
