Three maritime-themed ranges for the A/W 2016 by North Sails
The depth of the sea in every abyss nuance and coral reef ripple. Unfailingly dedicated to the maritime world, the essence of the North Sails Autumn/Winter 2016 collection is encompassed in three different ranges. The urban and gradualist style of the technical pieces of North Sails Black, where cotton and cashmere wink to asymmetries and sartorial reinterpretations among trousers with oversize cuts and ergonomic details. The experimental aesthetics of North Sails Deep Blue, the sailing-inspired range where knitwear become technical both in terms of yarns and of the inserts for the windproof and waterproof garments, in a colour chart raging from royal blue to flashing red with flashes of gold and silver. Finally the streetwear austerity of the navy and military inspired garments of North Sails Ocean Blue, with refined washed and distressed vintage looks and 1980’s references for bomber jackets, pea coats, uniform-inspired field jackets, low crotch trousers made of twill or satin.
