Theresa May kicked off London FW
The newly elected British Prime Minister, Theresa May, opened London Fashion Week by organizing a reception, at 10 Downing Street, dedicated to “Made in the UK” fashion and its designers. Guests included Burberry’s Christopher Bailey and Vivienne Westwood. During the convivial event, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the British fashion industry on a national and international level, however, refraining from any direct comment on the possible scenarios that could occur if Britain were to, in every respect, leave the European Union.
