The fil rouge in Ulyana Sergeenko’s collections is the celebration of her own land, the typical craftsmanship of Russia, told with an intense and sophisticated poetic narrative. The futuristic Sixties, with their modernization, are revived in the collection of this designer, where she incorporates themes of freedom and liberation from oppression. Themes in which she then translates the atmosphere of Possibilism and hope, deriving from those years, into clothes with a look that is nonchalant, yet, priceless in its materials and workmanship. Silhouettes are dynamic and sleek. Geometric shapes combine tradition with innovation, and volumes and cuts are contemporary.
