Vaccarello: three more years at Saint Laurent

According to a number of sources in the French media, Anthony Vaccarello has signed a contract securing his position at the Yves Saint Laurent creative helm for another three years. The Italian-Belgian designer, who joined the fashion house in 2016 after an experience with Versus Versace, has undoubtedly steered the brand towards success as proven by the fact that today Yves Saint Laurent is the second brand after Gucci in terms of profitability, as revealed by Kering, the luxury group to which it belongs to. The renewal of the contract with Vaccarello should reassure investors about the stability of the French label, since in recent times there have been several changes within the luxury giant labels, including the conclusion of the partnerships with Stella McCartney and with Christopher Kane and the replacement of Tomas Maier, artistic director of Bottega Veneta, with Daniel Lee.
