Vancouver Fashion Week, an eco-friendly triumph

The latest edition of the fashion week held in the Canadian city focused strongly on the theme of sustainability.

Vancouver Fashion Week closed its doors during the first week of October, registering the participation of 115 designers from all over the world who introduced their spring/summer 2016 collections.

The most talented students from the prestigious Canadian fashion schools of Lasalle College  and VCC also had the opportunity to present their creations.

Many brands and designers introduced eco-friendly collections, demonstrating how the concept of environmental sustainability is making strides in the world of fashion.

Among those who showed this increasing environmental sensibility, Australian brand Green Embassy and Canadian Allison Wonderland deserve special mention. Two were the Italian brands participating in Vancouver: Serienumerica and  Angela Colosimo.
