Well Made in Italy…

Origin Passion And Beliefs, an important fashion accessory promotion showcase, was held at the beginning of September

Dedicated to the most representative exponents of the “well-made” within the Made in Italy, a country leader in manufacturing and fashion services for accessories, the capsule trade show Origin Passion And Beliefs was held from the 6th to the 8th of September in the Rho-Pero exhibition space in Milan.

It took place in conjunction with the prestigious textile fair Milano Unica, which was visited by more than 6000 companies and by important visitors from USA, China, UK, Japan, Russia, South Korea. The unique partnership between Origin Passion And Beliefs and Milano Unica allowed at the same time to offer to the visitors the first integrated platform for the entire production chain of fashion accessories and to provide to the exhibitors renewed international visibility.

Now at its third edition, after the success of the first two editions held in Vicenza in Veneto, Origin Passion And Beliefs represents the ideal meeting point between Italian manufacturing know-how and the creativity of international design new talents and guided visitors and fashion experts in a wide-ranging journey dedicated to fashion accessories.

The media showed great interest in the stories of master craftsmen who showed versions of traditional techniques with a modern twist for textile and leather as well as new technologies, for example 3D printing, and cross-pollinations with different materials such as metals and ceramics. The over 100 exhibitors that participated to the event, including masters of Italian craftsmanship and Italian fashion workshops, were divided into four thematic categories. ‘Leather’, dedicated to leather apparel, footwear, bags and other accessories; ‘Stone’, which brought together fashion bijoux, jewellery, gold-smithery and accessories; ‘Textile’, consisting of menswear, womenswear, knitwear, textiles, embroideries and accessories; ‘Technology’, focused on new contemporary technologies, new materials, new manufacturing techniques as well as new patents.

Among the exhibitors within these four categories there were also 50 designers hailing from 40 different countries in 5 different continents selected in collaboration with the British scouting  platform Not Just A Label (NJAL). Together with Milano Unica, the capsule trade show by Fiera di Vicenza promoted networking opportunities and meaningful content for the fashion accessory segment and for its users thanks to a series of events in its calendar.
