Progetto QUID: when each single garment is a beacon of hope

THE START UP COMPANY QUID PROJECT DEBUTS ON QVC

After much hard work, commitment and dedication, QUID Project, the start up company by Anna Fiscale, debuts on the multimedia shopping platform QVC with an ethical and sustainable collection of handmade garments created with fabric leftover stock from big companies. QUID Project is not just fashion but the realisation of a dream. As a matter of fact, most of the employees working for the start up company have had a difficult past. Just as the re-used materials are transformed into true masterpieces of style and originality, men and women in search of social redemption are able to reinvent themselves and therefore live their lives differently. Thanks to a QVC Next Lab initiative created by QVC in collaboration with The European House Ambrosetti, they are trained to handcraft extremely feminine limited edition garments. The square shapes and volumes and the flared silhouettes, alongside detailed features like the teardrop necklines and the tulip sleeves, make each garment perfect for any occasion and suitable to all ages and body shapes. Just like, fro example, the stretch cropped trousers, with elasticated waist and a split on the ankle, designed to enhance the woman’s body. Matured over the years from many experiences in the social sector, Quid Project is an initiative that has succeeded in giving a second chance to entire communities and in transforming a fashion capsule collection into a beacon of hope.
